The World Darts Championship has been held at Alexandra Palace since 2008.
The event takes place in the West Hall of Alexandra Palace. -
2025 / 2025-26 Tournament (Paddy Power World Championship)
• Dates: from 11 December 2025 to 3 January 2026.
• Size: expanding field — 128 players.
• Prize fund: £5,000,000, with the winner receiving £1,000,000. -
2024/25 (recent edition)
• Dates: 15 December 2024 to 3 January 2025.
• Field: 96 players.
• Winner’s share: £500,000 out of a £2,500,000 total.

Capacity
• The West Hall (where the Championship is held) has capacity around 3,200 people.
• Note: some sources say ~3,500, depending on configuration. -
Getting There
• Train: Alexandra Palace has its own station. There’s also connection via Moorgate / Kings Cross / Highbury & Islington (changes via Finsbury Park) to get there.
• Tube + Bus: Nearest Underground is Wood Green (Piccadilly Line). From there, you can take the W3 bus up the hill to Alexandra Palace.
• Bus: W3 bus route is used for several stops around the Palace (Palace Park, Palm Court etc). -
Parking
• There are about 1,200 parking spaces in Alexandra Palace grounds.
• Parking is split across six car parks, first-come first served.
• Disabled / blue badge parking is available (free for badge holders) in some of the car parks (Grove Car Park, East Car Park). -
Food, Drink & Payment
• Drinks inside the venue are somewhat pricey. For example, a pint is around £7.25, a glass of wine ~£7.60, soft drinks cheaper.
• The venue goes cashless for the World Championship — all bars, food, merch are via contactless / NFC etc.

There are several hospitality packages (Silver / Gold / Platinum) available, which include things like pre-session meals, complimentary drinks, dedicated seating / lounges etc.
